DigitalGlobe and MDA to Offer Combined Optical and Radar Satellite Solutions to Select Defense & Intelligence Customers


(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LONGMONT, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/15/14 -- DigitalGlobe, Inc., (NYSE: DGI), a leading global provider of commercial high-resolution earth observation and advanced geospatial solutions, today announced that DigitalGlobe and MDA will cooperate to offer combined optical and synthetic aperture radar satellite data solutions to their respective defense and intelligence customers around the world. This solution will provide customers the ability to task and collect with DigitalGlobe's constellation of high-resolution earth imaging satellites, along with ability to receive and process near real-time data from the RADARSAT-2 synthetic aperture radar satellite within a common architecture.
