Dialogue Group Strengthens SMART Initiative with New Architect

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sydney, Australia: Global mobile messaging specialist, Dialogue Group has today announced the appointment of Owen Davies as Solutions Architect of the company's SMART A2P (Application-to-Person) Monetisation program. Davies comes in as Dialogue Group continues to strengthen its business operations with the recent unveiling of its global A2P SMS initiative to support MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) with A2P monetisation.

As Solutions Architect, Davies will be based in Australia and help MNOs analyse A2P revenue leakage and connect operators to Dialogue Group's A2P SMART Hub to effectively filter A2P grey routes. In doing so Davies aims to stabilise and increase A2P value for operators and provide a rapid and linear revenue stream. Fraudulent activity conducted through grey area messaging erodes away vital revenues for mobile operators worldwide and is also damaging operator's reputations by delivering spam and potential security threats.

Davies said: "Dialogue Group provides an innovative and entrepreneurial working environment, helping worldwide carriers to reduce fraudulent network activity and unlock revenues associated with A2P SMS. This is an exciting time for Dialogue Group so I look forward to joining the team." With nearly two decades of experience Davies is a Service Assurance and Telecoms Networking solutions specialist, having delivered OSS tools to support LTE rollouts at both Optus and Vodafone Australia. He was also responsible for assembling the team that is presently delivering OSS for the VoLTE programme.

Dialogue Group's CEO, Perry Offer said: "As the MNO network starts to realise the significant scale of the revenues we can help them realise by ending the network fraud that is 'grey route' traffic, we're delighted to bring Owen on board given the huge amount of technical expertise and MNO experience he brings to the table." Davies graduated in Computer Engineering and completed his Masters in Parallel and Distributed Computing Systems at the University of Western England. He is also a member of the British Computing Society (MBCS) and Chartered Engineering Institution for Information Technology.
