InVision Software AG: Preliminary Results for the Financial Year 2011
Ratingen (Germany), 13th February 2012 - According to preliminary results,
InVision Software AG (ISIN: DE0005859698) will close the 2011 financial
year with total revenues of approximately EUR 12.4 million. This
corresponds to a decrease of approximately 23 percent (total revenues 2010:
EUR 16 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) equalled
approximately EUR -3.9 million, compared to EUR 1.1 million reported for
2010.
Revenues and income for 2011 are impacted by the transformation of the
business model to cloud computing, which was initiated in the second
quarter of 2011. With the transition to cloud computing, InVision generates
monthly payments for the use of its solution instead of one-time license
revenues based on orders. This temporarily leads to lower revenues, but in
the medium and long term the company will achieve a significantly greater
scalability of the business model.
The Executive Board of InVision Software AG is very pleased with the
transformation so far, which is to be concluded in the third quarter of
2012 as planned.
