Demandbase Expands Operations to Support Rapid Adoption of Its B2B Marketing Cloud Offering


SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--

Demandbase, Inc., the leader in B2B Marketing Cloud Solutions, today announced the expansion of its East Coast headquarters in New York City, a new European cloud infrastructure and the addition of two senior level executives. The two new senior executives: Frank Matticola, Vice President of Media Sales, and Tat Ng, Senior Vice President of Engineering, join a workforce that has grown by more than 50% in 2014.

These announcements come in support of triple digit growth for the company. Also, Demandbase's marketing solutions now process two billion transactions per month, up from one billion just six months ago, with 40% of traffic originating from outside the U.S. The company has added cloud-based infrastructure in Europe to support this increase and is currently evaluating operations in Asia-Pacific. Growth in usage comes from existing customers who continue expand their use of Demandbase solutions at 120 percent year-over-year, on average, and from new customers. More than 60 percent of current customers have adopted the Performance Manager application, launched in May, which provides powerful insights to improve B2B marketing performance across the full funnel - including advertising, personalization and conversion programs.

The new Demandbase offices are located in the acclaimed Chrysler Building in midtown Manhattan, with the New York City team dedicated to helping marketers innovate their digital strategies and drive increased sales activity and revenue from their advertising budgets. The company is hosting an office expansion party n September 30th with hundreds of customers, agencies and partners already registered.



Newly-appointed Vice President of Media Sales, Frank Matticola, will be located in the New York office and will be responsible for leading the Media Sales team for Demandbase. Prior to joining Demandbase, Matticola led global sales for Chango, Inc., where he helped grow the company from pre-revenue to $40 million in sales over a four-year period. Tat Ng, Demandbase's San Francisco-based Senior Vice President of Engineering, will direct product development, including building out localization and international capabilities for the platform. With over 20 years of experience leading technical teams and building enterprise-grade, large-scale SaaS (News - Alert) platforms, Ng joins Demandbase from ChannelAdvisor (NYSE: ECOM) where he directed global development of the company's e-commerce solutions as the Vice President of Engineering.
