Delta Airport Consultants Selects Certeon to Accelerate Airport Project Planning
BURLINGTON, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Certeon, the industry's first vendor to provide Application Intelligent Networking(TM) for significantly accelerating applications securely over wide area networks (WANs), today announced Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. has selected the S-Series(R) Application Acceleration Appliance to speed application performance and file access between its corporate and remote offices. Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. is a full service aviation consulting firm, which has worked on airport planning, design, construction and environmental projects across the country during its 29 years in business. Delta was looking for a solution to enhance its data transfer times and improve the performance of its Web-based applications in all of its satellite offices around the United States. Prior to selecting Certeon's S-Series, Delta considered Web caching devices and expensive T1 bonding technologies to mitigate the negative effects of the WAN on its Microsoft(R) SharePoint(R) Web infrastructure. The S-Series was the only solution to provide a noticeable difference in Delta's application performance, as well as file access between its remote branches and corporate office. In most cases, Delta was able to reduce application access from more than 30 seconds to less than five seconds.
