DataServ Launches New SaaS Platform for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and HR Automation

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 DataServ, the global Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of cloud-based document and process workflow automation solutions, announces the launch of a new Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform that speeds performance while giving clients an easier, more flexible, and more intuitive user experience.

Among the most significant enhancements of the new platform:    •  A user experience that offers a clean, highly intuitive look familiar to Internet users that reflects the latest available technology and works on the most commonly used browsers    •  Since it is SaaS, there is no need for software installation on individual workstations    •  Faster performance via Elasticsearch that allows clients to enter, manage, and analyze data faster than ever, increasing efficiencies and saving time and money    •  Substantially improved self-management that allows clients to tailor to fit their branding and workflow needs    •  Easier configuration means more rapid deployment – clients can be up and running in weeks, not months "We are pleased to introduce our entire roster of DataServ clients to our new platform, which they are all being upgraded to at no charge," DataServ Founder/CEO Jeff Haller said. "It's a simple, icon-based, mobile-friendly system that's easily tailored to each client's needs and business process." More than half of DataServ's existing clients and all its new clients added since January 2014 are operating on the new platform. The company's remaining clients will all be migrated before the end of the year.

"This platform ushers in an exciting new era for DataServ and for our clients," Haller said. "Our ability to bring new and improved electronic document and process workflow automation solutions is now stronger than ever, and we know clients are going to realize an even better ROI when they choose DataServ to help solve their document and process workflow issues." This new platform provides DataServ with vast scalability, allowing the 20-year-old company to provide its clients with high-performing, low-cost solutions for their purchase to pay, quote to cash and hire to retire automation needs. The new platform represents another technological milestone for the company that developed the first commercially viable ECM SaaS in the world. In the works for more than two years, the new system is the first SaaS transactional ECM platform built from the ground up on NoSQL technology. DataServ built the new system in part on NoSQL database vendor MongoDB, a highly successful open-source document database which recently had one of the largest single funding rounds ever achieved for a database company.

Haller concluded by saying: "Having heard universally positive reviews from our clients who participated in beta testing and our new clients who are already using the new platform, we're confident all our clients will be exceptionally pleased."
