Tom Hoar, Datalliance Director of Sales Plumbing & HVAC, led the 2+ hour workshop, focused on how VMI is currently helping industry leaders reduce stock-outs, improve inventory turns and increase sales, specifically with WIT members.

This workshop outlined how the VMI process changes the way distributors and wholesalers conduct business with key manufacturers.

Attendees learned how this collaborative approach strengthens business partnerships, improves supply chain efficiencies and truly delivers financial value for both parties. Tom Hoar explained, "VMI is rapidly expanding in the plumbing, heating and cooling segments and there has been a growing level of interest with WIT members. WIT members have shown a strong commitment to improving their supply chain operations. The participation of WIT members Canplas, Consolidated Supply, MDM Supply and Ward Manufacturing allowed other members to understand how VMI can help them attain their business objectives. In addition to Tom Hoar's VMI expertise, the session was supplemented by the VMI experiences of Mike Gilroy (Canplas), Jeff Konen (Consolidated Supply), Mike Larkey (MDM Supply) and Curtis Engel (Ward Manufacturing).
