Cyberoam Unveils Trade-up Offers for SonicWall Partners and Customers
Mar 19, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Cyberoam, an IT security player, has launched a marketing campaign with trade-in offers for SonicWall partners and customers.
According to a release, Cyberoam was quick to react to the news, which is said to bring in substantial turbulence within the channel and end customer community of SonicWall. Harish Chib, Senior VP- New Business Development, Cyberoam, reacted to the news by saying, "As it has been seen many times over in the past, Product-People-Philosophy have not always merged in case of corporate mergers and acquisitions. Dell's focus has been on the Personal Computer industry so far and not on security. Dell's takeover of SonicWall business may dilute focus on the security business in the longer term".
Announcing its offer for SonicWall customers, Cyberoam will be providing a free one-year subscription on Web Content & Application, IPS & Anti-X subscriptions who trade-in SonicWall appliances to buy Cyberoam. SonicWall Partners will also benefit with immediate access to free training and certifications on Cyberoam along with membership to Cyberoam's Partner program and an access to its lucrative Partner Advantage Incentive Program.
Reiterating Cyberoam's commitment to IT security and Cyberoam channel partners, Chib said, "Cyberoam is the only UTM focused company in the IT security industry today. Our sales strategy is 100 percent driven by our channel community. In fact, we rank third amongst UTM Industry in terms of completeness of our vision and product strategies by a prestigious product analyst firm."
