CSIRO to Host Silicon Valley Innovation Summit & Showcase


CSIRO, the scientific and research organization for Australia responsible for the breakthrough science at the heart of innovations such as WiFi (News - Alert) communications, extended wear contact lenses, and the black box used in aviation, will host its first-ever Silicon Valley Innovation Summit & Showcase on Feb 17th in Palo Alto (News - Alert). The event will showcase breakthrough new scientific developments and technologies and outline ways CSIRO plans to increase collaboration with leading tech companies, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, academics, and other influencers in the Silicon Valley technology community.

CSIRO, formally known as the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization of Australia, has an enviable track record of 100 years of pioneering research and scientific discoveries that are at the heart of some of the world's most compelling and recognizable innovations.
