CSC signs IT services agreement with Exelon

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC (NYSE: CSC), an IT services company,
announced on 3 July that it has signed an agreement with the Exelon
Corporation to provide a broad spectrum of infrastructure support.
The contract could be worth in excess of USD150m.
The five year deal, which could be extended by up to three further one
year periods, will include help desk services, desktop support,
database administration, telecomms and data network support and server
management services. Work on the contract will take place at CSC's
World Sourcing delivery centres in Malaysia and India, as well as at
various locations in the US.
Some of the work will be undertaken together with System Development
Inc of Chicago. CSC president, Richard Ricks, said in the announcement
that CSC are cultivating greater expertise in the energy and utility
fields to better support its customers.
