Crossover MICR Printer Offers Flexibility in Check and IRD Printing Environments

printers and software solutions, announced the availability of its SP 8200DN MICR laser printer. The SP 8200DN MICR
printer is the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) engineered version
of Ricoh's SP 82000DN printer, and
is designed for check and image replacement document (IRD) printing.
With a print speed of 50 ppm and first-page-to-print of 3.5 seconds, it is
an excellent option for on-demand workgroup MICR printing. But it also
offers the durability robust paper handling, and low cost-per-page needed
for demanding light production check and IRD printing.

The SP 8200DN MICR features max paper in/out capacity of 4,400/3,500 pages,
standard automatic duplexing, plus IPDS, hard drive, hole punch, and
stapling options. It also features Rosetta's dual-component MICR toner
system. Dual-component allows for more consistent MICR output quality and
lets users replace only the supplies that are depleted or worn. By
replenishing toner separately, the overall cost-per-page is drastically
reduced.
