CPA Remembers Former Board Member Larry Ryder(Marketwire (Canada) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Aug. 29, 2014) - The Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) sends its deepest condolences to the family of Larry Ryder who passed away early this morning. Mr. Ryder served on the CPA Board of Directors from 2003 to 2011 and also served as Chair for a number of years. "During his tenure, Larry was a very visible symbol of the Parking Authority," says Interim General Manager Wes Hogman. "He was never shy about approaching people on the street and asking for their opinions about ParkPlus or parking in general. He was very supportive of the CPA and our staff. We see the CPA as a big family, so this loss has been felt deeply." Mr. Ryder was a valued member of our team who always exceeded expectations and encouraged us all to do the same. He frequently visited the CPA office to chat with our staff and get to know them on a personal level. His ideas, tenacity and vivacious character will not be forgotten.
