Continuum Expands Executive Management Team with New Chief Information Officer


Hunter Smith Joins Continuum Managed IT Services as New CIO; Sudhakar Dongre Joins as Assistant Vice President Infrastructure and IT Operations BOSTON – Oct. 29, 2014 – Continuum®, the industry's only channel-exclusive provider of fully integrated managed IT services solutions, has named Hunter Smith as new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Most recently, Hunter served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Acadian Asset Management. He is expected to take Continuum’s IT operations to the next level of performance as the company continues its rapid growth and expansion. Sudhakar Dongre has joined Continuum as Assistant Vice President Infrastructure and IT Operations in Mumbai, India, reporting to Hunter.



“We have added more than 200 professionals to our organization this past year, opened additional office locations including Canada and London, and continue to improve the systems we leverage to interoperate, as well as the operational platform supporting our partners,” said Rob Autor, Senior Vice President of Global Service Delivery at Continuum. “Hunter understands and can anticipate operational needs as we bring more and better resources to our ever expanding partner community.” Hunter Smith was also a member of Acadian’s executive committee and board of directors. Earlier at Acadian, he served as Vice President and Director of Development and Data Architect and Director of Data Services. Prior to Acadian, Hunter held positions at Plymouth Rock Companies as Director of Enterprise Technology Services as well as positions at Hobbs/Madison, MFS Investment Management and CSC Consulting. Hunter has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Dartmouth College. He is responsible for all IT resources for Continuum’s U.S. and India locations.

“Scaling an organization at this level of performance is always a challenge,” said Hunter Smith. “I am excited to join ranks with a very senior group of professionals whose mission is to build a world-class suite of technology solutions for the small and medium business market.” Most recently, Sudhakar Dongre served as a Regional Delivery Manager as well as a Program Manager for IBM where he managed complex projects and ongoing service delivery operations for the Business Continuity and Resiliency Services. Prior to serving IBM for nine years, Sudhakar held positions at Euronet Services as Head of Infrastructure and Operations; Diebold as Manager of Infrastructure; NCR Corporation as a Remote Enterprise Management Supervisor, among others. Sudhakar has a master’s degree in business administration in systems and marketing from Sikkim Manipal University.
