Consumer Marketing Veteran to Lead Public Relations for Become.com's Fast-Growing Vertical Search and Shopping Site; Become.com Names Mimi Sells to Senior Communications Role
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- March 22, 2006 -- Become.com, the only vertical search engine to combine comparison shopping with online product information research, today announced the appointment of Mimi Sells to Senior Director of Corporate Communications. Sells brings 20+ years of consumer and high tech public relations and marketing expertise to Become.com.

Sells joins Become.com from EFI (NASDAQ:EFII) where she was the senior director of corporate communications and advertising for the industry leader in digital imaging technologies. Over her five year tenure, she launched dozens of successful products, led external and internal communications for four acquisitions, ignited their web marketing program, and managed global communications for the billion dollar company. Prior to that, Sells led corporate and marketing communications for eGreetings.com, a leader in online greetings that was later acquired by American Greetings. Earlier, she served as director of corporate communications for IDG Books Worldwide, where she led the publicity team for the wildly successful "...For Dummies" series of consumer and technology books as well as other top selling book brands. Sells also led the communications initiatives for the latter two companies' public offerings.
