Collin County, Texas, Selects Suite of Solutions from Tyler Technologies


Tyler Technologies (News - Alert), Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with Collin County, Texas, for Tyler's Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution and EnerGov permitting, regulatory and maintenance platform. The agreement includes software licensing, implementation, training and related professional services.

Collin County wanted to replace its legacy financial system with a contemporary ERP solution that would eliminate paper-based processes to streamline business operations and help reduce the time it takes to handle routine information requests. The county also wanted a solution that would integrate multiple departments while being flexible enough to support the county's future growth.

After a competitive review, the North Texas county chose to partner with Tyler Technologies, selecting core Munis applications, including financial and revenue management, productivity and Tyler Content Manager™.

Tyler's EnerGov platform will provide the county a web-based permitting and inspections solution, as well as a citizen portal to expand government access and transparency for resients.



With Munis and EnerGov, Collin County will experience better communication across multiple departments, increased automation and modernized processes. The county will also benefit from Tyler's evergreen perpetual licensing approach that provides regular and significant, yet manageable, software enhancements without an additional relicensing fee, ensuring all systems are using the latest technology.
