City of Edmonton Selects Constellation Software's Trapeze Subsidiary for Comprehensive Demand Response System

Trapeze Software Inc. ("Trapeze"), a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU) and a provider of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and mobile technologies is pleased to announce that it has signed a significant contract with the City of Edmonton, Alberta for provision of a comprehensive, integrated demand response solution.
The Trapeze solution for the City's Edmonton Transit System includes an advanced scheduling and dispatch system designed to support the Disabled Adult Transit Service (DATS). Leveraging Edmonton's existing Greyhawk mobile data terminals, the system is enabled with two-way data messaging capabilities and GPS data communication to provide real-time vehicle positioning and schedule adherence information.
The new enterprise solution selected by the City of Edmonton also includes Trapeze technology for client certification, customer relationship management and a comprehensive workforce management solution for employee bidding, dispatch, yard management, timekeeping and online employee information.
Edmonton Transit System has been providing public transportation service in the Edmonton area since 1908 and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
