Citizant Awarded $3.9 Million Cloud CRM Contract by GSA

CHANTILLY, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Citizant, a leading provider of full life cycle information technology solutions to the federal government, has been awarded a three-year contract from the General Services Administration for continued customization and deployment of an enterprise-wide and cloud-based CRM system.

"The GSA (News - Alert) has set the pace for effective cloud computing solutions within the federal government. Citizant is proud to leverage its application development expertise in support of this important initiative," said Paul Bize, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Citizant. "Citizant's previous CRM contract laid a solid foundation for this program's implementation. Our next challenge is to accelerate system customization and rollout against the GSA's other important business goals."

In 2008, Citizant conducted a concept trial of a cloud-based CRM system for the GSA's Federal Acquisition Service of the Office of Customer Accounts and Research. Within the GSA, the CAR's role is to facilitate the understanding of customer requirements. This group is also responsible for GSA's acquisition services, solutions and options, which help federal customers select the best-value solutions for their needs.

Citizant and its partner, Acumen Solutions, have already developed Phase I of a Salesforce.com system for CAR in the past two years. This includes data discovery, standardization and conversion. The Phase I CRM system has already been used by FAS employees in a dozen major cities.

Under the new contract, Citizant will help expand CRM solutions throughout the GSA. The company will also focus on faster executions, superior system flexibility, integration with other enterprise systems and stricter adherence to business requirements.
