China SaaS Market Size Totaled CNY6.197bn in Q4

BEIJING, Feb 19, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- China's software as a service (SaaS) market size amounted to CNY 6.197 billion in the fourth quarter of 2008, jumping 43.6% quarter on quarter, according to a report unveiled by technology, media and telecom (TMT) market researcher Analysys International.


The market size of online management software was CNY 84.56 million, leaping 57.7% from Q3 2008. Alisoft.com reaped revenues of CNY 41.5 million in October-December 2008, ranking the first place in the Chinese online management software market with a share of 49.1%. eAbax gained revenues of CNY 12.85 million, snatching a 15.2% market share and ranking the second.

China's SaaS market will keep a fast growth trend in the coming years. The market size of online management software will reach CNY 348 million in 2009 and that of management SaaS will be CNY 720 million in 2011, with a compound annual growth rate of 76.27%, forecast analysts at the research firm.
