China : PRAXAIR CHINA enters GAS SUPPLY AGREEMENT with TRINA SOLAR ENERGY [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A gas supply agreement has been entered by Praxair China with Changzhou Trina Solar Energy which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trina Solar.

Oxygen, nitrogen, argon, ammonia, silane will be provided to Trina Solar s new manufacturing plant located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province by Praxair China, as per the agreement.

In order to offer flexibility, safety and reliability in product supply, silane will be supplied in tube trailers.

Praxair s support for the project will make an high impact on the company s position in the solar market, added Patrick Lu, VP of Supply Chain Management at Trina Solar.

Trina Solar will be provided support to accelerate the cost competitiveness which is necessary for growth in the market, added Praxair China s President, Minda Ho.

Over 50 solar production facilities are served by the electronics business of Praxair worldwide.
