Cheap net calls for firms

(The Mail on Sunday Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)A FORMER property developer is bringing a company to the Ofex market that will offer small firms the benefits of cheap internet calls.

Hello Telecom uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology to give cheap or free calls to business customers, but unlike some rivals, it uses a private network to remove the risk of interruption.

The company was founded by Ken Grundy, a former chartered surveyor who made a fortune trading property in the Eighties only to see his holdings slump after investing heavily in the Glasgow market.

The local story was that Grundy had bought half of Glasgow, but unfortunately it was the wrong half.
