Charles River Associates Appoints Seabron Adamson as VP [Professional Services Close - Up]


(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Charles River Associates (CRA) reported that Seabron Adamson has re-joined the firm's Energy Practice as vice president.

In its release, CRA said Adamson has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, focusing on the application of economic analysis to competitive energy markets both in the U.S. and Europe.

Most recently, the firm noted. Adamson had been a Senior Consultant to CRA and prior to that, his experience included leading CRA's Energy Practice from 2006 to 2008.

"It is a pleasure to welcome Seabron Adamson back to Charles River Associates and the Energy Practice," said CRA's President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Maleh. "Seab advises generation and utility clients, as well as investment banks, in generation valuation, finance, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to enhancing the Energy Practice's litigation and regulatory service offering, Seab brings expertise involving finance and investment- related issues in the energy sector." The Firm said Adamson has advised clients in both the electricity and natural gas sectors on matters such as market design, asset valuation, litigation support, transmission pricing, and contract analysis. He has provided extensive expert testimony before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, U.S. state and Canadian provincial regulators, and arbitral tribunals.



Adamson also brings a comprehensive background in international markets having been involved with energy sector restructuring, pricing, and valuation issues in the European Union, India, China, and Latin America.
