CGI's global delivery centers of excellence in India appraised at CMMI® Level 5 for application management and infrastructure management servicesBANGALORE, India, Feb. 15, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) announced that its Asia Pacific global delivery centers of excellence have been rated at Level 5, version 1.3, of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration for their application management and infrastructure management services. Level 5 is the highest rating an organization can attain under the CMMI framework. CGI's global delivery centers in India also were rated at Maturity Level 5, version 1.3 for Development in 2015. This most recent appraisal, which was performed by KPMG, demonstrates the high level of process maturity underlying service delivery at CGI's global delivery centers in India, as well as CGI's culture of continuous improvement based on its Management Foundation. "CGI has a strong commitment to process improvement initiatives," said Dr. Krishnamurthy Kothandaraman, CMMI Certified High Maturity Lead Appraiser at KPMG. "Its management and improvement of important delivery metrics, such as client satisfaction ratings, service level adherence and effort utilization, met the high standards required by a Maturity Level 5 appraisal and were demonstrated through multiple engagement service level initiatives using statistical and quantitative methods."
