Certified Security Solutions Adds New Automation for Java KeyStore Management and Mac/OS Client Enrollment to its Certificate Management System

CLEVELAND, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Certified Security Solutions (CSS), a global leader in enabling secure digital identity and access solutions, announced the launch of new Java KeyStore management and auto enrollment capabilities for Mac devices with version 4.1 of its Certificate Management System (CMS).

Used by the top security-conscious organizations of the Global 2000, CMS automates the discovery, monitoring and management of certificates across multiple systems. Java KeyStore Manager helps IT departments save time, increase security, and prevent outages by monitoring and managing all of the Java KeyStores in their environment under a single pane of glass. Mac Auto Enrollment allows for Active Directory enrollment of Mac devices, with non-exportable keys, which mirrors the ease of native Windows Auto Enrollment. The new CMS software features reduce burdensome tasks that are often the responsibility of critical IT resources, freeing them up for other important security projects.

Designed with scalability in mind, CMS is not licensed on a per certificate basis. CMS is ideal for high certificate use cases such as enterprise expansion, Internet of Things (IoT), or Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) mobile user certificates.CMS helps manage certificates issued by your own certificate authorities, as well as certificates purchased through third-party certificate authorities, to prevent outages and ensure continuous availability.

"We've surveyed our customer base and prospects to determine the most needed and in-demand features for CMS 4.1," stated Ted Shorter, CSS CTO. "The outage prevention capabilities of CMS are joined by efforts to optimize the management of cumbersome and vast Java KeyStores in addition to eliminating manual and insecure enrollment for Mac devices.  We're excited to release this new functionality to the market at a cost point not previously available to commercial clients."

Demonstrations of the Certificate Management System (CMS) are available by visiting www.css-security.com/cms.
