CellaVision AB receives first Canadian orders for new body fluid application

Swedish blood analysis systems developer CellaVision AB (OMX First
North:CEVI) said on Tuesday (30 September) that it has landed the first
Canadian orders for its recently launched CellaVision Body Fluid
Application.

The orders were placed by large hospital laboratories in Ontario,
British Columbia and Nova Scotia.

"It is strategically important for us to be entrusted to deliver a new
product this soon after its introduction to the market," said Yvonne
Martensson, CEO of CellaVision.

"This is an example of a newly developed application which can be
offered to potential and existing customers. In the long run it will
give us recurring revenues," Martensson said.




The financial details of the Canadian orders were not disclosed.


CellaVision, headquartered in Lund, Sweden, develops and sells image
analysis based systems for routine analysis of blood and other body
fluids. The company has subsidiaries in the US and Canada.
