CCC to create 10,000 jobs in five years

RIYADH, Feb 09, 2012 (Arab News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Contact Center Company (CCC), a joint venture providing customer care service to Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) customers in Saudi Arabia, has announced plans to create 10,000 job opportunities over the coming five years. Addressing a press conference here, Anil Modi, executive president of CCC, said that Saudis, especially women, would take up about 90-95 percent of the new jobs. He expected that the number of calls being received at CCC customer care service centers would double to 360 million with completion of opening of centers in various regions of the Kingdom.

Modi said that CCC would create more job opportunities at its main centers in Riyadh and Jeddah. "The company has already achieved 98 percent Saudization. This reflects our confidence that Saudi employees can offer this service to the society in the best possible manner in view of their well-adaptation to the local culture, language and environment," he said while underscoring the company's keenness in introducing the world class technology to the Kingdom's customer care service sector.

Speaking on the occasion, Mansour Al-Dalaan, vice president for business development at CCC, said the company is currently on the path to realize it's ambitious goals and plans to become the leading customer care service management company through offering comprehensive solutions for the telecom, banking, financial, insurance, healthcare, travel, hospitality, and consumer and retail industries. The company is instrumental in the development of a thriving and challenging contact center industry in the Kingdom, he pointed out.

It is noteworthy that CCC is the joint-venture entity formed out of the collaboration between Aegis, a world-leading outsourcing services company, and STC, the largest telecom company in the Kingdom. The company aims to leverage the strengths and synergies of both parent companies to deliver a wider range of contact center solutions that enhance customer experience. As part of managing and coordinating customer interactions, CCC provides customer prospecting, customer acquisition, activation and order processing, customer care, customer support, and retention management services.

Aegis won a $2-billion order to manage STC's customer-care operations including billing, directory inquiry, collection and verification of telecom operations last year. As part of the eight-year deal, Aegis and STC floated CCC with STC as the anchor. Both partners have near equal stake with STC holding 51 percent share. From March 2011, CCC started providing customer care service to STC customers in the Kingdom.
