"Over the past forty years, Casio has built a great reputation by not only providing reliable hardware to the reseller channel, but also featuring rich embedded software that comes with the products," said Lawrence W. Sampey, General Manager of Casio's Systems Products Division. "With the addition of QSR Version 2.0 to our software portfolio, we at Casio are able to provide resellers with a range of solutions for the quick service industry that will help them meet the needs of their customers."

POS software is one of the biggest factors that helps determine the overall success of a business' operations, beginning with the flow of inputting orders effectively and the efficient preparation of those orders, to accurate and precise reporting, and more. Casio's extensive and powerful QSR Version 2.0 software application offers a wide range of features specifically for the quick service industry. A newly-designed graphical operator screen includes customizable item button setup, specialized modifier buttons, and the ability to load a Watermark logo in the transaction area. Additionally, the software leverages Casio's touch-screen terminal to offer horizontal swiping of the menu buttons to give operators easy and quick access to 30 menu screens. The software also offers an HDMI remote customer display interface, time and attendance, and a customer file that can include loyalty program information and even the ability to send email notifications when a charge has been made to that particular file. Finally, the new QSR Version 2.0 software is also capable of providing automated e-mail reports at the end of each night, as well as historical reporting.

With the addition of Casio's QSR Version 2.0 application to its software portfolio, resellers have the option of choosing between that and Casio's standard software application, providing the flexibility to select the best solution for their customers on the V-R7000/7100 Android terminals.
