Capsilon Named a Finalist in the 2015 Golden Bridge Awards

Capsilon Corporation, a provider of comprehensive cloud-based document and data management solutions for mortgage lenders, investors and servicers has been named a finalist in the 7th Annual 2015 Golden Bridge Awards. The company's Capsilon DocVelocity platform was recognized in the "Innovations in Technology" category.

The annual Golden Bridge Awards program, with active participation from a broad spectrum of industry voices, encompasses the world's best in organizational performance, products and services, innovations and more from every major industry. Organizations from all over the world are eligible to submit nominations including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups. Winners will be honored in San Francisco on Monday, November 16, 2015 during the 7th annual awards dinner and presentations.

Capsilon was named a finalist because the company demonstrated technical innovation with its new DocVelocity Automated Data Extraction (ADE (News - Alert)) capabilities. This breakthrough technology offers a powerful alternative to current labor-based approaches to access, validate and evaluate critical loan data. Leveraging a standard set of common mortgage documents and associated data, the Capsilon Professional Servces organization works with mortgage companies to define the data they need to enable rich data-driven audits and DocVelocity automatically extracts the required data.

The extracted data is automatically transformed into Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO)-compliant data points for consumption by automation engines, and saved in the DocVelocity electronic loan folder for quick referral at any time during the life of the loan. Links to the original document from which the data is extracted are always maintained, so it is simple to track back to the "source of truth" for the data. No other mortgage industry solution includes these critical capabilities.

"To be named a Golden Bridge Awards finalist in the 'Innovations in Technology' category is especially rewarding because our mission is to deliver innovative technology that automates key steps in the loan production process, transforming the way the mortgage industry does business," said Sanjeev Malaney, chief executive officer of Capsilon Corporation. "Some of the country's largest lenders are already leveraging DocVelocity's Automated Data Extraction technology to speed loan evaluation, improve loan quality and reduce total loan production costs."
