The new camera stays true to the characteristics of PowerShot Sseries delivering high quality images and easy access to manual settings in a pocketable design with numerous features. At the heart of the camera lies Canon's HS System, a strong core which combines a highsensitivity sensor and DIGIC image processor for high quality performance, providing excellent images in lowlight situations. The PowerShot S200's ultrawide angle bright f/2.0 lens, combined with a higher sensitivity 10.1MP CCD sensor, provides great flexibility to capture creatively in challenging situations. The PowerShot S200 has an optical Image Stabilizer to deliver crisp and clear shots and includes Intelligent IS technology to automatically apply the most suitable form of stabilisation for a range of scenes and settings.
