Canback Names Arshad Abba as South Africa Country Manager [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Canback & Company has appointed Arshad Abba as South Africa Country Manager. According to a company release, Abba will head the firm's new Johannesburg office and oversee operations and business development in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, starting Sept. 15. Staffan Canback, Managing Director of Canback & Company, said: "Our consulting firm has seen spectacular growth in Africa over the past few years. We are therefore delighted to open an office in Johannesburg to serve South Africa and the rest of the continent. Arshad will add to this capability with his strong managerial experience and a quantitative mindset." Abba joins from Barclays Africa Group Limited. He also worked with Deloitte and Ernst & Young in Johannesburg. Canback & Company is a management consulting firm.
