Canara Hires Manos [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Canara said that it Steve Manos has joined as the company's Chief Business Officer. According to a Canara release, Manos will report directly to newly appointed CEO Tom Mertz and be responsible for all sales/ marketing initiatives as well as developing services to support clients' needs. The company reported that Manos joins Canara from Norland Managed Services where he was a General Manager-North America for the global provider of data center management services. Prior to his time at Norland, Manos was at Lee Technologies/Schneider Electric, where he was responsible for operations in the central region of the United States. His career also includes positions at Ascent Corp., Midland and O/ E. "Steve is one of the most respected individuals in the data center industry. With his relationships, knowledge of the industry and ability to grow business from the ground up, he will be a terrific addition to the Canara team. I look forward to working closely with him to implement our growth plan," said Mertz.
