Call for SINET 16 Innovator ApplicationsSINET, an organization focused on the advancement of Cybersecurity innovation through public-private collaboration, announced today that the SINET 16 Innovator Awards application process is now open. Each year, SINET assembles an esteemed steering committee of 90 industry and government experts to select 16 innovative solution providers who are identifying cutting-edge technologies to address Cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. The winners are invited to present their solutions at the SINET Showcase in front of hundreds of the world's largest and most important investors and buyers of security products. The SINET Showcase will take place in Washington, DC, on November 3 - 4, 2015, and is supported by the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate. Last year, the winners were selected from a pool of 135 applicants, which included companies from around the world. Previous winners report that the exposure their companies gained generated important leads that resulted in sales contracts and equity investments. Participation in the process, which requires a free but mandatory professional coahing session, also helped refine their messaging and strengthened their business presentation.
