CACI Awarded $159 Million Prime Contract to Develop and Implement U.S. Army's Personnel and Pay System

CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today it was awarded a $159 million contract to develop and implement the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). This five-year contract represents new work for CACI, growing the company's presence in its Business Systems market area.

IPPS-A is a web-based system that will standardize, streamline, and integrate soldier personnel and pay processes and data across all Army components (Active Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve). As the largest integrated human resources system of its kind, it will be the authoritative source of personnel and pay information for more than one million soldiers and discontinue the Army's reliance on more than 40 different systems.

CACI will be the system integrator of IPPS-A, providing development and implementation support to replace the Army's legacy systems and dramatically improve Army personnel and pay operations. CACI specializes in providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based systems to the federal government, and more than 100 agencies today rely on the enterprise-level systems CACI has developed and deployed. The company's value-added solutions increase system productvity, improve effectiveness of business processes, and enable cost-effective measurement of results.

John Mengucci, CACI's Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said, "It is our honor to be selected by the Army as the system integrator to develop and implement the Integrated Personnel and Pay System. CACI has become a trustworthy leader in complex ERP system integration programs, and we look forward to serving as the Army's partner in making IPPS-A an unqualified success."

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, "The Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army adds a significant new program to an already large and growing portfolio of enterprise systems that CACI has implemented for our federal customers. This contract enables us to expand our work in our Business Systems market while supporting the Army in achieving an imperative goal - ensuring that all soldiers are paid accurately and on time for many years to come."
