BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. WEN, AUY, LYG, DUK, KT, EEDG, Highest Net Buy Volume With Lowest Price Friction For Friday, June 1st 2012

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3565 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1269 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4744 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Wendy's Company (NASDAQ:WEN), Autonomy Corp PLC (NYSE:AUY), LLOYDS BANKING GROUP PLC-ADR (NYSE:LYG), DUKE ENERGY CORP (NYSE:DUK), KT CORP-SP ADR (NYSE:KT), ENERGY EDGE TECH CORPORATION (OTC:EEDG). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction WEN $0.080 1.74% 3,569,555 55.20% 2,896,835 44.79% 672,720 84,090 AUY $1.010 6.93% 3,041,493 27.57% 2,388,203 21.65% 653,290 6,468 LYG $0.020 1.29% 4,576,737 41.59% 1,825,178 16.58% 2,751,559 1,375,780 DUK $0.280 1.27% 8,315,894 36.29% 6,806,885 29.71% 1,509,009 53,893 KT $0.160 1.37% 1,355,428 64.62% 294,315 14.03% 1,061,113 66,320 EEDG $0.026 76.47% 1,919,024 79.95% 481,233 20.05% 1,437,791 552,997 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WEN with a Net Buy Volume of 672,720 shares and a Friction Factor of 84,090 shares. That means that it takes 84,090 more shares of buying than selling to move WEN higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
