Marvin won in the large company category "for exemplifying high standards of ethical conduct in the workplace, the marketplace and the community," according to a press release. Marvin employs more than 4,500 in locations across the country. Hires and promotions Scheffer promoted to banking team lead Bremer Bank announces the promotion of Eric Scheffer to vice president and business banking team lead in Grand Forks. In this role, Scheffer will manage a team of five business bankers in the Grand Forks region. He was previously an assistant vice president in business banking. Scheffer has a bachelor's degree in accountancy from UND in Grand Forks. Two named to NDAR board Phil Vanyo of Coldwell Banker Forks Real Estate and David Blumkin of 1st Realty of Greater Grand Forks Inc. and members of the Grand Forks Board of Realtors have been named to the board of directors of the North Dakota Association of Realtors. Vanyo and Blumkin will serve on the association's 2015 board. Schultz joins Thrivent Financial Scott Schultz has joined Thrivent Financial as a financial associate in its northwest Minnesota eastern North Dakota regional financial office in Grand Forks. Before joining Thrivent Financial, Schultz worked in the banking industry. He graduated from UND, receiving a bachelor's degree in financial investments. Wald hired by Norby's Janelle Wald was hired in the marketing department of Norby's Work Perks in Grand Forks earlier this year.
