The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority Contracts with Tyler Technologies for Microsoft Dynamics AX


Tyler Technologies (News - Alert), Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with the Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority, an international compact entity, to implement Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics® AX, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution with public sector functionality that Tyler Technologies jointly developed with Microsoft®. The contract includes related professional services, licensing, training and support.

Built for the business of governments, schools and not-for-profit agencies, Microsoft Dynamics AX, with its out-of-the-box public sector capabilities developed by Tyler and Microsoft, includes core functions such as financials, projec and cost management, supplier relationship management, and human resources management.



For decades, Tyler has successfully developed, deployed and supported software solutions exclusively for the public sector. As part of the agreement between Tyler and Microsoft, Tyler is an authorized reseller of Microsoft Dynamics AX and delivers implementation, software support and other standard services.

The Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority, a bi-national bridge authority governed by representatives from the U.S. and Canada, has owned and operated the Peace Bridge since 1933. The bridge opened to traffic in 1927 and spans the Niagara River between Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York; it is a key international border location. The Peace Bridge is the second-busiest border crossing between the two countries, with almost 6 million cars and trucks traveling across the bridge in 2013.
