Broadview Wins Corporate Citizenship Award

Broadview Networks^®, a leading cloud-based provider of communications and information technology services, was honored with this year's Corporate Citizenship Award from YAI's Business Advisory Council (BAC). YAI is a network of non-profit agencies serving individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The award was presented by Michael Kramer, Executive Director of The Corporate Source (News - Alert), a YAI network member, to Joseph Eckhoff, Broadview's Inventory Manager, who accepted the award on December 15 at the Marriot Marquis in Manhattan.

YAI's BAC promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace and educates businesses about the benefits of iring dedicated, well-trained individuals with disabilities. Broadview was selected for the Corporate Citizenship Award based on its commitment to hiring and mentoring individuals with disabilities at its Farmingdale, N.Y., facility, as well as its support of YAI's annual Central Park Challenge.

"We believe in the work YAI does and have experienced first-hand just how dedicated and reliable their job training graduates are as employees. Broadview has hired seven people through The Corporate Source, who are responsible for processing and programming phones at its Farmingdale facility. "It's all about teamwork…we all step it up," said Martin Eilenberg, one of the employees.
