British Airways Adds Flights From TorontoTORONTO, Dec 27, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- British Airways announced it will be increasing its flights between Toronto and London Heathrow, from March 31, 2013. Additional flights on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays make the total frequency on the route 17 per week. The new frequencies will be served on a B767-300, offering Club World business class, World Traveller Plus premium economy and World Traveller, the airline's economy class. Flights departing from Toronto arrive at London Heathrow's Terminal 5. The extra service will offer customers increased access to London, as well as convenient onward connections to Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Istanbul, among others. Passengers in Club World or Club Europe and Gold and Silver Executive Club members have access to the Galleries Lounges in Terminal 5, with stylish modern interiors and a touch of unique British style. British Airways customers will be able to travel in greater comfort, thanks to modern, refurbished cabins with new lighting and larger overhead lockers that allow for extra luggage. British Airways also announced a new route to Chengdu in China, just weeks after starting services to Seoul in South Korea. The thrice-weekly service, which is now on sale, will start on September 22, 2013. The route will be served by a four-cabin Boeing 777 with First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller.
