BrightPoint and Microsoft Announce Launch of Online Store for Windows Phones in the United Arab Emirates
(GlobeNewswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) INDIANAPOLIS, April 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. ("BrightPoint") (Nasdaq:CELL), a global leader in providing device lifecycle services to the wireless industry, today announced with Microsoft the launch of Waha Store (www.wahastore.com), the first e-commerce website dedicated exclusively to Windows Phones in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Waha, which means "oasis" in English, will provide a convenient, reliable and centralized destination for consumers across the country to purchase the latest wireless devices from a variety of Windows Phone device manufacturers. Waha Store will offer customers manufacturer warranties with their purchases and arrange delivery of new phones directly to the customer's doorstep.
