BRIEF: Woman accused of ATM machine embezzlement

Feb 14, 2012 (The Wilson Daily Times - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested a Mount Olive woman for embezzlement after money reportedly went missing from ATM machines at three Friendly Mart locations.

Following an investigation by Detective Sgt. Mike Kabler, Allison Ann Duffield, 54, of 1750 Dobbersville Road, was arrested. Bond was set at $5,000 unsecured.

Officials said Duffield was tasked with the duty of refilling the ATM machines at three locations of the store, which weren't specified. It was from these machines the money was discovered to have been taken, sheriff's officials said.
