BRIEF: Time Warner phone customers lose service

(Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Jan. 8--Time Warner phone service customers may be experiencing dead phone lines as the company tries to restore service to "a limited number of customers," according to Stacy Zaja, a spokeswoman for the company.

Time Warner crews have restored service to many customers and are trying to do the same for remaining customers as soon as possible, Zaja said.

The company would not disclose how many customers were affected or explain why people lost service.
