BRIEF: Tajikistan, Germany mull economic cooperation

Feb 14, 2012 (Trend News Agency - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Tajikistan and Germany discussed development of bilateral economic cooperation at a meeting of Tajik Economic Development and Trade Minister Sharif Rahimzoda with German Ambassador to the country Doris Hertrampf, Avesta.tj reported.


The sides discussed state and prospective of trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany, as well as scientific and technical interaction.

Mr Rahimzoda underscored that Tajikistan is interested in boosting economic ties with world's well-developed countries including Germany and cooperate with them in implementation of joint projects, which will allow creating new jobs in the country.


The parties also discussed preparation for the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA-V).
