BRIEF: T-Mobile to hold Boise job fair

Nov 06, 2012 (The Idaho Statesman - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Cellular-phone service provider T-Mobile will hold a job fair in Boise next week.

The event is part of the company's push to add 135 workers before spring at its Meridian headquarters, according to the Idaho Department of Labor.

The job fair is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the department's Boise office, 219 W. Main St. Participants will be automatically entered to win a $50 gas card.

The departmen said T-Mobile is looking for high school graduates with at least one year of customer-service experience. Applicants should apply online before attending the job fair and will have to pass a background check to be eligible for the jobs. The jobs start at between $11.07 and $13.17 an hour with possible monthly performance incentives. T-Mobile also provides benefits, including medical, dental and vision care, child-care subsidies and tuition assistance.
