Apr 22, 2009 (The Register-Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Raleigh County sheriff's detectives say a male suspect is at-large after robbing a video poker parlor at gunpoint -- while wearing a pink bandana on his face and trendy women's sunglasses.
At 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, a male suspect entered Pop's, a video poker parlor on Ritter Drive in Daniels and near the former Shady Spring Junior High, according to both Sgt. Larry Lilly, chief of detectives and Chief Deputy Dave Stafford. The suspect, armed with what is believed to be a shotgun, demanded money. The clerk on duty complied, and the suspect fled the scene.
