BRIEF: Police: Teen tried to sell stolen gaming console on Facebook [The Eagle, Bryan, Texas :: ]

(Eagle (Bryan, TX) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) April 24--A Bryan teen was charged with burglary after listing a stolen PlayStation for sale on Facebook, police said.

Preston Alan Harrison, 18, was accused of breaking into a home on Navidad Street in February, causing $250 worth of damage to a door frame and stealing a $400 PlayStation 4, an iPod and K2, according to the arrest report.

A week after the reported burglary, one of the residents told police Harrison listed a PlayStation 4 for sale on his Facebook account, according to authorities.

Harrison had played video games at the home with one of the residents in the past, police said.

Arrested on an unrelated burglary warrant on April 3, Harrison admitted to serving as a lookout while an unidentified person used a butter knife to break in, according to the report.

Harrison told police he kept the PlayStation while the other person kept the K2.

Burglary is a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

He remained behind bars Wednesday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
