BRIEF: Police searching for Comer Hall robbery suspect

Feb 14, 2012 (Opelika-Auburn News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Auburn police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the robbery of an individual at the rear door of Comer Hall on the Auburn University campus at approximately 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to call the department at 501-3101 or 501-3140.


Auburn Police Chief Tommy Dawson said they are looking for a black male, dressed in a light shirt, dark pants and gray jacket wearing a black toboggan, who was last seen running toward College Street away from campus.

According to police, he was armed with a handgun.
