BRIEF: Police: 2 Gateway Drive businesses victims of burglary

Nov 14, 2011 (Grand Forks Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Grand Forks Police Department is investigating an overnight burglary at two neighboring businesses in north Grand Forks, according to a news release.


Officers responded this morning to the Farmers Group Insurance, 2612 Gateway Dr., and the Network Center, 2612 1/2 Gateway Drive.

The police report states somebody apparently entered the building by breaking a window, and an interior door also was damaged.


Items were missing from both businesses, including a Dewalt drill set, air compresser and laptop computer.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call (701)787-8000.
