BRIEF: Out and About Iowa: Centerville to be in spotlight on IPTV

(Daily Iowegian (Centerville, Iowa) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Jul. 1--An Iowa Public Television crew spent Monday and Tuesday in Centerville, filming an "Out and About Iowa" segment for an upcoming spot on the IPTV?show, "The Iowa Journal."



"Out and?About Iowa" host Dan Kaercher sat down at a courthouse lawn picnic table with Centerville Mayor Marsha Mitchell on Tuesday morning. Kaercher commented that he was also scheduled to interview Bill Burch and Linda Howard for the segment.

Kaercher is the founding editor of Midwest Living Magazine. He is well-known for his IPTV/PBS series "Best of the Midwest," "Taste of the Midwest" and "Parklands of the Midwest."



Other communities featured during the past year on "Out and About Iowa" were Pocahontas, Red Oak, Fairfield, Waterloo, Sioux City, Cedar Rapids, East Village in Des Moines, Fort Madison, Algona, Davenport, Corning, Orange City, Newton and Elkader.

The segment is scheduled to be aired in the next few months on IPTV. The Daily Iowegian will publish a date and time when that information becomes available.
