BRIEF: North Augusta police seek 2 in kidnapping, armed robbery
Feb 14, 2012 (The Augusta Chronicle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
North Augusta Public Safety officers were searching Tuesday for two New Ellenton men wanted for armed robbery and six counts of kidnapping.
Jodeci Jaquanis Johnson, 18, and John Antwoin Ways, 20, have been identified by investigators as suspects in the Feb. 6 incident.
Lt. Tim Thornton said all of the charges stem from one incident at a North Augusta home. Six people were kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint, he said.
Additional warrants for the suspects have been filed that stem from the February incident, according to a news release.
Investigators believe a third person assisted in the crimes, but that person was not identified.
