BRIEF: Missing Man Found Safe in Kalamazoo County

Feb 14, 2012 (WXMI-TV - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. -- The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department now says that an elderly man who suffers from dementia and who went missing has now been found safe. According to police he was found at the hospital, visiting his wife.


Robert Atkins, 77, was last seen around 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, and his family called to report him missing. Tuesday he was located.

Atkins is the second elderly man to go missing from the area in the past week. Last Tuesday Arthur Wolford, 82, disappeared from the Golden Care Adult Foster Home.
