BRIEF: McCartney to step down as head of preservation group

Feb 14, 2012 (The Buffalo News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Preservation Buffalo Niagara, which hosted the 2011 National Preservation Conference, will soon have a new executive director.

Henry McCartney will leave the position March 1 after 3 1/2 years, although he will remain active in the organization. Replacing him will be Tom Yots, a current board member and owner of Preservation Studios, a local historic preservation consulting firm.
